The Evolution of Watertown

The festivities will kick off with the Pride Parade from Moxley Field, down Main Street, across the newly painted rainbow crosswalk and into Saltonstall Park for the festival. In the weeks leading up to the event, the community participated in multiple art installations displaying unity and love.

Inthe staff of the Watertown Free Public Library WFPL wanted to respond to the longing people were feeling for connection, especially as we all were slowly coming out of the COVID pandemic, and ready to see our neighbors face to face. The event will feature high-energy performances and inspiring, trans-affirming motivational speeches. Activist bands and high school musicians were enlisted to lead a six-block parade to a local park.
